How has the protracted economic downturn affected different neighborhoods and populations in San Francisco and Oakland? Directors from organizations that provide services and housing to low-income residents and neighborhoods in these cities will provide an overview about the conditions of the place and the concerns of the people that they have observed over the past few years. Speakers will discuss the changes they have made to their programs, the shifts in their organizational focus, as well as future opportunities they see on the horizon that are necessary to respond to the changing landscape. Following the presentations and Q&A, the speakers will depart the meeting, giving the bankers an opportunity to privately discuss what they heard.
Even if your assessment area does not include San Francisco or Oakland, you may still find value in hearing from some of the most impactful community based organizations in the region about what are certain to be broad-based themes affecting all communities and service providers.
